GENERAL POWER AND DUTIES
To consider and implement employee suggestions that promote efficiency, economy, quality and safety in the workplace.
Goal: Analyze and process suggestions made by employees about how processes can be improved (i.e. redesign processes to lower costs).
Objective: To define the steps and responsibilities necessary to establish fair, systemic and timely review and evaluation of employee suggestions.
MEETING TIME AND LOCATION
Meeting time and location to be determined by membership.
COMPOSITION
TOTAL: 5 members appointed by the Mayor
Positions 1 & 2: must be employees of the City of Houston.
TERM: Two members serve two year terms. Three members serve three year terms.
